I have a confession. You might think I’m an avid ‘money saver,’ because I’m constantly blogging about a healthy financial life, but in reality- I’m not! At times I tend to be fairly frugal, but my true colors come out in the aisles of Saks Fifth Avenue.

A couple weeks ago I had a birthday party to go to. And not only did I forget about it, but I also forgot to get a gift! It was down to the wire, with only an hour to go before the party. I knew I had to come up with something other than the generic birthday card and lottery tickets- and then it dawned on me. The birthday girl loves ‘sweets’… and she would certainly love my (cheap) 4 ingredient peanut butter cookies!
